This article emphasizes the importance of teaching children the skills they need to become better equipped to use technology. This is a technology rich age we are living in and many children do not have the resources at home to utilize this great tool. At school we have the ability to give them the chance to experience what they may not be able to on their own.

Hey Andreah. Thanks for sharing this article. I can't even imagine what it would be like if all my students were issued laptops. I like that they acknowledged that it's not just about technology: "The key is not the technology but how we're trying to use it to make learning more engaging and interactive." This is my belief as well. The video conferencing sounded really cool too!
