The purpose of this particular blog is to display methods of utilizing technology in the classroom – mainly the lower elementary setting. I hope to bring to the forefront techniques of implementing of technology with children especially in grades K-2. I loved the student work portion of this website. I can’t wait until I can have my own classroom site…which will be available to my school next month! Parents love seeing their kids work. Even as I put photos in my printed newsletter each week, the parents and students get excited when the picture is of them (or their children). Online I could do so much more – the possibilities are endless! (And the joy of saving a few trees!!!) The page also demonstrates just how much the little ones really can do with technology.
This website is a great resource for teachers and also for parents. The link on NAEYC was not available and I really wanted to view that information.
