The purpose of this particular blog is to display methods of utilizing technology in the classroom – mainly the lower elementary setting. I hope to bring to the forefront techniques of implementing of technology with children especially in grades K-2. With the help of my blog, elementary educators will find articles that show that successful technology integration can be accomplished in lower elementary and will find sites and programs that can be useful in the classroom

CoolMath is a great site for mini-lessons and games and I like the presentation - color and fonts they use. (Could do without the advertisements, but oh well, it's free!) I think some of the lessons will work well with the whiteboards (like division and fractions). I am going to put the "Timernator" link on my newsletter so my students can practice their multiplication facts at home with a timer.
Andreah, this is REALLY a "cool" site. I had so much fun with the trailing numbers for my mouse! I am definitely going to pass it on to my math teacher friends. This site really makes me want to do math! No kidding! I love math...I'm seriously thinking about taking the test and adding math to my teaching certificate!
