Marilyn Western has it going on! First graders making spreadsheets and turning them into graphs? I guess I should be pushing my fourth graders a little more! I like the idea of letting students use the digital camera to find geometry on the playground. (Every year I have them draw the equipment outside, but never thought of letting them take photos). Easy ideas that will increase student engagement and long term memory of concepts make me happy. A very useful article!
